Due to the triangular shape of the bones that protrude above your eyes. The males can measure between 1.80 and 2.50 meters in length and the females up to 1.40 meters. At an early age, they show a yellowish color with spots and black stripes on the body and tail, and then turn to the olive green color that characterizes them. As a great aquatic predator, it adapts easily to its environment. Adult feeding consists of fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and small mammals. Newborns eat insects and other small animals.
